Yamato Koriyama is four minutes by train from Nara Station and about 50 minutes from Osaka and Kyoto. A 170-year-old brewery with a microbrewery and bar runs this half-day experience, from 13:00 to 17:00.
You help prepare the mash that will ferment, from soaking the rice and steaming it to cooling it and filling the fermentation tank, and you also tour the brewery.
