Noh is the world's oldest continuous dramatic art, handed down for six centuries. On a Noh family's own private stage in Tokyo you learn about it from the head of the family, who shows his personal collection of masks, fans and costumes.
You then watch two shimai dances and see the characters come alive in the masks, and finish with conversation over matcha and traditional sweets. A private performance in full costume and mask can be added as an option.
