Kintsugi repairs broken or chipped vessels with lacquer and finishes the seams with gold or silver powder. In a gallery space in Minami-Aoyama you practise it while exploring its philosophy of letting cracks shine and the wabi-sabi aesthetic.
You take your finished piece home the same day, and can bring your own broken ceramics for advice. The session ends with Japanese sweets and tea with your instructor.
