In the green town of Ikeda, an hour from Nagoya, a husband-and-wife duo runs a fashion brand that uses genuine traditional 'Japan Blue' fermented indigo dyeing.
You take part in traditional hondate aizome dyeing in a workshop set in idyllic foothills, and since spring 2025 guests can also tour the indigo fields.
