Senkoji is a remote, peaceful temple in the mountains of Hida Takayama. You take time for meditation, view the Enku Buddha statues in the treasure hall with the head priest, and walk a section of the 88-temple pilgrimage route through the forest around the temple.
A private talk with a local elder follows. A goma fire ritual can be added on request for an additional fee.
